Herbs for New Moon in Capricorn

               The new Moon is in Capricorn on December 26, 2019.   We’d like to offer some thoughts on magickal workings and herbs for a new Moon in Capricorn.  New moons are liminal as they represent both the closing of one cycle and the opening of another.  Our focus will be the start of a new lunar cycle.

               There is never just one way nor is there any dogmatic absolute right way to work with lunar cycles.  We are going to present three perspectives and offer some suggestions for herbal partners that can assist you.  If you’re searching for the absolute right way, the answer lies within.  Use this information for ideas or a launching point. 

Astrological

Workings: You may want to kick off the year with a balance of ambition and fun.  Magick related to organization and career are recommended focuses.  Be creative in these, that’s where the fun comes in.  Use the first half of this Moon lunation to focus on starting your magick.  With the full Moon of this lunation in Cancer, you’ll transition to loving and nurturing what you’ve kicked off so it can become stable in your life.
