Tea Ball Mesh Infuser

Description

Make a single serving infusion easily with this tea ball mesh infuser.  Lift the clasp to open the 2″ mesh ball.  Scoop up or place a measure of herb into one side, brush off any excess herb on the rim then close the two halves and secure the clasp.  Place the tea ball in a cup using the hook at the end to secure it to the rim.  Pour hot water over the herb.  Use the tea ball to stir the infusion.  When it’s ready, remove the tea ball infuser.

Our herbalist likes to get the most from the herbs and leaves the tea ball in place while sipping the infusion.  You may also add more water for one or two cups however, the strength does weaken each time.

What do you do with the used herb material?  We suggest returning it to where it came from.  Put it in your compost pile or simply sling it into the yard.  Don’t have a yard?  Place the spent herb into a container and take it with you on your next walk in the woods and return it to the Earth there.
