A 34 ounce French press is a handy simple tool to make your herbal infusions. Place your ground herbs into the glass beaker. Then, pour hot water over the herbs, stir and let stand. When the infusion has steeped long enough, press down on the handle straining the herbs out of the infusion and pour. Our herbalist uses this for quick small batches. The filter press separates for easy cleaning. We suggest hand washing although the beaker and holder are dishwasher safe.
What do you do with the used herb material? We suggest returning it to where it came from. Put it in your compost pile or simply sling it into the yard. Don’t have a yard? Place the spent herb into a container and take it with you on your next walk in the woods and return it to the Earth there.
