Theresa Hutch, artist and creator of the deck, has worked as a graphic designer, art teacher, yoga teacher, and illustrator. She has a B.A. in Design Communications. Theresa enjoys creating characters and telling stories through her art.

Seeking a way to balance the masculine energy in our cultures with a soft, strong and feminine deck, White Sage Tarot was born. The white sage plant is often used in smudging, particularly as an ancient Native American method to cleanse spaces and people. The intentions of White Sage Tarot is to help people find clarity and glow while navigating life’s journey.

White Sage Tarot is a modern, minimalist 78-card deck based on a classical model of tarot. The animals wear clothing, creating a whimsical touch to both the Court Cards and the Major Arcana. The colors of the seven chakras (energy centers) are incorporated into the Minor Arcana Cards as an additional way to read the deck.
